Tourism Conference

This February I am excited to join Visit Nebraska in Lincoln and have my own booth to share the story behind the 21 panels on the Nebraska State Capitol. I look forward to meeting you in person and to share at least three thoughts on three fantastic slogans from Visit Nebraska:

🌽 Nothing to See or Do Here :: check for yourself and discover why Las Casas is on the exterior of the Nebraska State Capitol. And there's much more...

🦬 Party like it’s 1887 :: and pre-party like it's 1854.

🍿 WE GET TOGETHER. WE DO STUFF :: thriving greater Nebraska is amazing and I'm forever grateful to the Nebraska Community Foundation. They have shown me how an organisation with more than 1500 volunteers are active in more than 250 communities throughout the state.

πŸ“– In my book you will find connecting stories to these slogans and more:

When you build, you hire an architect and a contractor. They will design the structure and install all the necessary components to make it function. But when you are building would you also ask a philosopher to help? That is exactly what the wise people of Nebraska did. It paid off. Not only is the Capitol a functioning structure with all the necessary components it also tells a story and guides Nebraskans and all the people who encounter it.

The design team behind the Capitol put in deep thought into the building. They thought about the values and chose what best represented Nebraskans. Then they defined what we now know as The Good Life.
